These Terms of Service govern your use of Flightcase, a crew management and payroll application for IATSE union stewards, operated by Guillaume Delaporte / Ex Machina Productions. By using Flightcase, you agree to these terms.
By accessing or using Flightcase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Flightcase.
Flightcase is a Google Sheets-based application that helps IATSE union stewards manage crew sign-in sheets, calculate payroll hours in accordance with applicable IATSE contracts, and submit payroll data to their Steward Report. The application uses AI services (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) to extract data from work order PDFs.
Flightcase is intended for use by IATSE union stewards and authorized personnel. By using Flightcase, you represent that you are authorized to handle the crew payroll data you enter into the application.
As a user of Flightcase, you agree to:
Flightcase calculates hours, overtime, and pay based on the 2024–2027 IATSE Local 16 contract rules as implemented in the application. While we strive for accuracy, Flightcase is provided as a tool to assist stewards and does not constitute professional payroll or legal advice. Users are responsible for verifying all calculations before submitting payroll to the Hall.
All crew data entered into Flightcase is stored within your own Google Sheets and Google Drive. You are responsible for the security, accuracy, and appropriate handling of crew member data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Ex Machina Productions does not independently store or control your crew data.
Flightcase integrates with third-party services including Anthropic Claude API, Google Gemini API, and Twilio. Your use of these services through Flightcase is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. Ex Machina Productions is not responsible for the actions or data practices of these third-party providers.
Flightcase, including its code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Guillaume Delaporte / Ex Machina Productions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
Flightcase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that payroll calculations will be accurate in all circumstances. Use of Flightcase is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ex Machina Productions and Guillaume Delaporte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Flightcase, including but not limited to payroll errors, data loss, or unauthorized access to your Google account.
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Flightcase after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
